O365 Property Maintenance System
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 CAD
I’m building a full-featured property management solution inside our Microsoft 365 environment, but I want to start with the piece that hurts the most today—property maintenance management.
The first milestone is a Work Order Tracking module that lives natively in O365 (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and, if useful, Dataverse). Each work order must allow staff to open a ticket, assign it, follow its status, and close it with a clear audit trail. Crucially, every ticket needs robust attachment support so photos, PDFs, or any other documents can travel with the job from creation through completion.
Once this foundation is solid I’ll extend the system to cover rent rolls, client records, contracts, mobile inspections, and overall project-management tracking, so clean, scalable architecture is important.
Deliverables for this first phase
• A responsive Power App (web + mobile) to create, view, and update work orders
• SharePoint/Dataverse tables and flows that store data, send notifications, and keep history
• Attachment handling that lets users add and preview images or documents directly from their device
• Clear documentation so I can maintain and expand the solution in later phases
