Power Automate Code Generation Fix
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
My SharePoint-based project management site relies on a Power Automate flow that should fire whenever a new item is created. The flow’s job is simple: build a unique project code and spin up an accompanying project document. Right now the trigger fires, but the code never appears and the document step stalls, so the entire automation stops there.
I need someone who knows Power Automate inside out to trace where the logic fails, correct whatever expression, variable handling, or connector issue is blocking code generation, and make sure the document creation completes reliably every time an “Item created” trigger hits. Once fixed, the solution should:
• Generate a unique, correctly formatted project code for each new SharePoint list item
• Produce the corresponding project document and store or attach it as designed
• Log or surface any future errors so we can troubleshoot quickly
If you have solid SharePoint + Power Automate debugging experience and can jump straight into testing and fixing this flow, let’s get it working again.
