Power Apps PM Sheet Conversion

I’m ready to retire our over-grown Excel project tracker and replace it with a model-driven Power Apps solution that Project Managers can rely on every day. The new app must let us plan workshop deliveries, assign resources, request and approve budgets, and surface live insights in Power BI.

Scope of work
• Analyse the existing workbook and translate its tables into a clean Dataverse schema covering Projects, Timelines, Resource Allocation, Budget Requests, Training Providers, Courses, and Customer Organisations.
• Build model-driven forms, views, and dashboards so PMs can create projects, schedule tasks, allocate people, and update delivery status in just a few clicks.
• Configure role-based security so PMs see only their own projects while finance approvers can review all budget requests.
• Design Power Automate flows that route each budget request to the right approver, send reminder emails, and write the approval outcome back to Dataverse.
• Produce embedded Power BI reports that visualise project timelines, resource utilisation, and budget burn-down, and make them accessible inside the app.
• Import legacy data from Excel and run end-to-end testing with a small pilot group before go-live.

What I’m looking for:
• Proven experience with model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power Automate approvals, and Power BI embedding.
• Ability to deliver a functional prototype quickly, iterate on feedback, and hand over well-documented source files.
• Clear communication throughout the build so we keep scope and expectations aligned.
