Power Apps SharePoint Workflow -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a lightweight workflow built inside Microsoft 365 that starts in a SharePoint list and is driven by an embedded Power Apps form. The list must hold these columns exactly as written: ECR #, ECO #, DEV #, Project Name, Project Part Number, Activities and Activity Quantity.
Four roles must be able to interact with the item at different stages—EBM, Qual PM, FA and CM. Here’s how the flow should behave:
• EBM creates a new record via the Power Apps form.
• Qual PM is automatically prompted to review the Activities and Activity Quantity fields; they can either send the item back for correction or approve it.
• When approved, FA is notified to upload test-requirement documents directly into a linked SharePoint folder or the item’s attachment area.
• After FA signals completion, CM is alerted to enter a Start Date and Completion Date for each activity and upload the related reports.
I would like the whole process to run with standard M365 tools—SharePoint, Power Apps and, if needed, Power Automate for the notifications and status changes—so the solution remains fully low-code and easy to maintain by our in-house admins.
Please deliver:
1. A SharePoint list configured with the columns above and any additional hidden/status columns you require for routing.
2. A responsive Power Apps form embedded in the list, reflecting the role-specific fields and permissions.
3. Automated notifications and conditional logic that match the sequence outlined.
4. A brief hand-off guide so I can adjust roles or tweak emails later without touching the core logic.
If you’ve done similar role-based approvals in SharePoint/Power Apps, this should be a quick engagement. Let’s keep the setup clean, user-friendly, and fully within our M365 environment.
