Power Apps PDF Generator + Dataverse
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a canvas Power Apps solution that lets a user fill in a form, press a single button, and instantly receive a polished PDF along with any additional attachment PDFs. The PDFs should be stored in sharepoint folder. All information entered—strictly text and number fields—must be written to Dataverse tables for later reporting and auditing.
Here’s the flow I have in mind: the user completes the form, taps “Generate,” and a Power Automate flow (or another approach you recommend) merges the data into a template. The flow returns the main PDF, appends any extra PDFs, stores the finished files, and logs every field back to Dataverse. No images or other file types are captured at the data-entry stage; everything comes from user input.
Deliverables
• Dataverse schema set up for the text-and-number fields, plus storage of the generated PDFs or links to them.
. 2 Dataverse tables, 1 master patient Roaster and other to store user inputs.
• Responsive canvas app UI with the generate-PDF button.
• Automation that creates the primary PDF and attaches additional PDFs in the same run.
• Email or on-screen link delivery of the final documents.
• A brief hand-off guide covering template changes and solution import.
Acceptance criteria
— Button-triggered PDF generation completes in one pass.
— All user-entered data is saved accurately in Dataverse.
— Multiple PDFs are combined or attached as specified.
— Solution export and deployment steps are documented.
I already have a licensed Microsoft 365 tenant, so you can build directly in that environment or provide an importable managed solution.
