Power Apps Approval Workflow Automation

I need a straightforward yet reliable app built in Microsoft Power Apps that streamlines our internal approval processes from start to finish. Today, employees still submit paper or email requests that managers then track manually—a routine that slows everyone down. With this new app I want each request raised, routed, approved or rejected, and finally logged without anyone leaving the Power Platform environment.

Core flow
• Employees launch the app, fill out a request form, attach any required files and hit “Submit.”
• The request instantly appears in the relevant manager’s queue, complete with status indicators and comment boxes.
• Managers approve, reject or return for rework; the decision triggers an automatic notification and updates a central SharePoint list or Dataverse table.

Key requirements
– Responsive screens so both frontline staff and executives can use it comfortably on desktop, tablet or mobile.
– Role-based security: employees see only their own submissions, managers see everything within their team.
– Time-stamped audit trail for every action, searchable and exportable to Excel.
– Simple dashboard inside the same app showing counts of pending, approved and rejected items.

Deliverables
1. Power Apps canvas or model-driven app (whichever suits the scenario best) fully configured and connected to our chosen data source.
2. Any supporting Power Automate flows for notifications and escalations.
3. A short hand-off document or video walkthrough so I can maintain and extend the app after delivery.
