Outlook Email Forwarding with Power Automate

Job ID: 39659287

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

Project Title: Set Up Permanent Email Forwarding for Personal Outlook.com Account
Project Overview:

I am looking for an experienced IT freelancer to set up a permanent and reliable email forwarding system for my personal Microsoft Outlook.com account. The standard forwarding rule in Outlook settings is not a viable solution as it gets automatically disabled by Microsoft for security reasons. The goal is to implement a solution using Microsoft Power Automate that is not subject to this automatic disabling.

The Problem:

I have already attempted to create an automated flow in Power Automate to handle the forwarding. However, I am facing a persistent authentication issue that prevents the setup from being completed.

Specifically, when trying to create a connection to "Outlook.com" within Power Automate, the authentication process fails. The sign-in pop-up window appears briefly and then disappears, resulting in an error message such as:

Create and authorize OAuth connection failed.

Failed to create connection... The environment data loss prevention policies... could not be found.

This issue occurs even when using different browsers, private/incognito modes, different templates, creating a new environment, or building the flow from scratch. The core of the problem seems to be a fundamental issue with authenticating my personal Outlook.com account with the Power Automate service.

Deliverables:

Successfully troubleshoot and resolve the authentication issue between my personal Outlook.com account and the Microsoft Power Automate service.

Create a simple, efficient, and stable automated flow in my Power Automate account.

The flow must trigger whenever a new email arrives in my Outlook.com inbox.

The flow must automatically forward that email to a specified destination email address.

Provide a brief explanation of the root cause of the authentication issue and the steps taken to resolve it.

Access and Security:

I am prepared to provide the necessary credentials or participate in a supervised screen-sharing session (e.g., via Zoom, Microsoft Teams) to allow you to troubleshoot and implement the solution directly in my account.

Success Criteria:

The project will be considered successfully completed when I have a fully functional Power Automate flow that reliably forwards all incoming emails from my Outlook.com account to my chosen destination address, and the solution is confirmed to be stable and permanent.
