Power Automate Flow Request for Free calendar Time Slot Finder
I’d like expert help building a Power Automate flow to find available time slots in my Outlook work calendar, based on the details below. I’m looking for a flexible tool that will let me specify the length of free time I need, and return a list of matching open slots during my work hours.
Flow Name: Flexible Free Time Slot Finder
Purpose:
Create a Power Automate flow that identifies open time slots within my standard work hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) for the next three weeks. I want to be able to enter how long each time slot should be — for example, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 120 minutes— when I run the flow.
Requirements:
1. User Input – Duration:- When I manually initiate the flow, prompt me to enter the desired length of each time slot (in minutes).- Example inputs: “60” for one-hour slots, “30” for half-hour slots, “120” for two-hour slots.
2. Work Hours and Date Range:- Only search for available time between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.- Look ahead for 3 weeks from the date the flow is run.
3. Calendar Integration:- The flow should check my Outlook calendar and exclude any time that overlaps with existing meetings or appointments.- Only show slots that are fully free and match the duration I entered.
4. Output:- At the end, the flow should email me a list of all matching available time slots in the following format:
Email Output Format:
Subject: Available [Duration] Minute Time Slots – [Date Range]
Body Example (for 60-minute slots):
April 15, 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
April 15, 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
April 16, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
April 17, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
April 18, 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM...
(Only time slots that are completely free and match the requested duration will be listed.)
Optional Features (if feasible):
- Option to deliver results as an Excel or Word file instead of just in the email body.
Let me know if anything is unclear or if additional details would help.
Thanks!
