Dynamics CRM Lead Workflow Setup

I need help tightening up the very first step of our sales cycle inside Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Right now every new lead is routed manually by our sales manager, and it’s slowing us down. I want a clean, automated workflow that captures a lead, assigns or distributes it according to clear rules, and seamlessly moves it forward so the team can concentrate on converting opportunities and, ultimately, closing new customers.

You’ll be working directly in our existing Dynamics instance, mapping the path from initial lead entry through assignment and distribution. Once that backbone is in place I also need the supporting pieces: notifications to reps, simple dashboards so management can see where each lead sits, and concise documentation so we can tweak rules later without breaking anything.

Deliverables
• Configured lead-assignment workflow inside Dynamics (or Power Automate if that’s cleaner)
• Test scenarios completed and signed off by me
• A short guide outlining how to adjust assignment rules and add new reps

Success for me is an uninterrupted flow: every lead lands in the right person’s queue within seconds, with activity logged automatically and the hand-off to opportunity status just a click away.
