Design SharePoint Project Management Tracking System
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a Microsoft SharePoint-based solution that lets our Project Managers, Team Members, and Executives track every initiative from kick-off to close-out. The focus is pure task and project tracking: creating schedules, assigning work, and monitoring progress in one place without forcing the team to jump between tools.
Core functionality
• Gantt charts that render directly in SharePoint so anyone can grasp timelines at a glance.
• Simple task assignment with due dates, status columns, and automatic reminders.
• Progress reporting that rolls up task data into project-level dashboards executives can browse in real time.
I already have a modern SharePoint site collection available; you will configure lists/libraries, Power Automate flows, and any necessary SPFx or Power Apps components to deliver the experience above. Feel free to leverage out-of-box web parts where it makes sense, but I’m open to lightweight customisation to keep the UI intuitive.
Deliverables
1. Configured SharePoint site with Gantt, task, and dashboard pages ready for production.
2. Documentation (or short video walkthrough) showing admins how to add new projects, adjust fields, and maintain permissions.
3. One feedback round after first deployment to fine-tune columns, views, or notification logic.
Success is measured by our ability to spin up a new project workspace in under five minutes and share clear status views with senior leadership without exporting to Excel or PowerPoint. If you’ve built similar SharePoint project hubs and can point to live examples, I’d love to see them.
