HR Contract Hub Creation with Power Apps
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
Freelance Power Apps Developer Needed – Personal Project to Build HR Contract Hub
Hi there,
I’m looking for a skilled Microsoft Power Apps developer to help me build a Contract Management Hub as part of a personal side project to solve real-world HR Ops challenges. I'm doing this independently (not on behalf of a company) and will be funding it out of pocket.
The Problem
In my HR role, we manage various employment contracts (permanent, fixed-term, part-time, contingent etc.) for over 800 workers using fragmented tools:
Formstack for intake
DocuSign for signatures
Excel for tracking
SharePoint for contracts
Ivanti/UKG for downstream tasks
The current setup is manual, slow, and lacks transparency—often taking hours per contract. I want to prove there's a better way using low-code automation.
The Goal
To build a Contract Hub prototype using Power Apps + SharePoint + Power Automate that:
Centralizes the contract lifecycle (renew, extend, terminate)
Sends auto-reminders 60/45/30 days before expiry
Allows stakeholders to select "Renew" or "Terminate"
Generates contract templates for signature (DocuSign integration)
Updates SharePoint (replacing Excel master sheet)
(Optional) Triggers IT or payroll tasks via placeholder flows
Tech to Use
Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas or Model-driven, based on your advice)
SharePoint (for storing records + contract files)
Power Automate (flows, alerts, signature)
Optional: Integrate with Formstack and DocuSign
Budget is modest, so creative and lean solutions are welcome!
Deliverables
Working Power App with a clean, user-friendly interface
SharePoint backend with connected lists/libraries
Automated flows: reminder alerts, contract actions, and updates
Basic permissions or role-based access (as applicable)
Short documentation or walk-through
About You
You’ve built Power App dashboards or CLM tools before
You know how to keep things simple, fast, and scalable
You can recommend best practices in low-code HR automation
Experience in Canada workflow is an advantage
You’re okay working directly with me—no big team, just a clear vision
Budget
Since this is a personal project, I have a limited budget, but I’m happy to pay for value and discuss scope. Open to fixed-price or hourly—please propose what you think is fair.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy working on, please reply with:
A short intro or sample projects
Your rate or estimated cost range
How soon you could start as this is urgent.
Thank you!
Regards,
Gina
