Construct "Field Engineer Ops" Mobile App

Project Title: Build a Microsoft Power Apps + SharePoint “Field Engineer Ops” Mobile App (MVP)

Project Description

I’m looking for an experienced **Microsoft Power Platform developer** to build a **mobile-first internal app** for field engineers using:

* **Power Apps (Canvas App)**
* **SharePoint Lists** as the database
* **Power Automate** for basic notifications/automation (recommended)

The aim is to reduce admin time, standardise reporting, and improve visibility of training/compliance and operational checks.

MVP Features Required

1) Home Dashboard

* Shows key alerts for the logged-in user:

* Training expiring soon / expired
* Vehicle inspection due / overdue
* (Optional) Open actions / reminders

2) Job Sheets / Site Reports

Engineers can:

* Create a new job sheet, save as **Draft**, then **Submit**
* Capture:

* Site (dropdown from a Sites list)
* Dates on site + total hours
* Works undertaken
* Parts used
* Proposed remedials / follow-on actions
* Add **photos/files** (SharePoint attachments is fine)
* On submit: stamp submitted date/time, and make the record read-only in the app (engineer view-only after submit)

3) 1-Minute Risk Assessment (linked to job sheet)

* Simple hazard checklist + notes
* Stored as a separate record linked to the job sheet

4) Training Register

* Store engineer training/certifications with expiry dates
* Search/view by engineer and qualification
* Dashboard alert logic (expired / expiring soon)

5) Vehicle Inspections

* Simple checklist inspection form
* Track last inspection date and show “days since last inspection” on dashboard

Automation (Power Automate – required / preferred)

* Notify manager when a job sheet is submitted (email or Teams)
* Update vehicle “Last Inspection Date” when an inspection is completed

Deliverables

* Working **Power Apps Canvas App** (mobile layout)
* All required **SharePoint Lists** set up with proper columns/relationships
* Power Automate flow(s) configured
* Short handover notes (how to maintain/update lists, basic app structure)

Skills Required

Power Apps Canvas (Power Fx), SharePoint Lists, Power Automate. Experience building mobile apps for field teams preferred.
