Automate Forms to Excel Tracker
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
i need this simple and dummy proof pls
I have a Microsoft Forms survey that gathers only multiple-choice responses. I want every new submission to travel through Power Automate and land instantly in an existing Excel tracker that sits on my local computer. No manual exporting, no copy-and-paste—just a clean, reliable data flow.
The form is already built, and the workbook structure is in place; what I need is the automation layer that links the two. Your job is to configure (or, if faster, recreate and document) a Power Automate flow that:
• Listens for each new Microsoft Forms submission
• Writes the answers to the correct columns in my local Excel file without altering any current formulas or formatting
Acceptance criteria
1. A live test proves that a fresh form response shows up in the tracker within seconds.
2. The solution works even after I close the Excel file.
3. Clear, step-by-step hand-off notes guide me if I ever have to reconnect the flow on a new PC.
If a data gateway or any lightweight connector is required to bridge Microsoft 365 with my local storage, please include setup in the deliverable and specify any licensing implications up front.
