Automate Employee Celebration Emails
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I need a Power Automate flow inside Office 365 that checks employee records each day and fires off a single, friendly birthday or work-anniversary email on the correct date. The body of the message will be a personalised text greeting—no logos, photos, or extra graphics—so the flow simply needs to merge the employee’s name (and years of service for anniversaries) into a short, upbeat paragraph.
Key expectations
• The flow runs automatically, respects time zones, and never sends duplicates.
• HR must be able to update dates or names easily through a standard Office 365 data source—whichever you recommend (SharePoint list, Excel in OneDrive, etc.)—without touching the automation itself.
• A brief inline log or spreadsheet entry confirming each email sent will help with auditing.
• Provide clear comments inside the flow and a short hand-over document or video so we can maintain it in-house.
• Design and share the flow without having direct access to our email accounts (Privacy)
We have the Birthday one built but an employee has since left the organisation.
Once testing confirms that an email reaches at least three sample employee for both scenarios (birthday and anniversary), the project is complete.
