Social Network Backend Build
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m building a new social networking app and need a robust, future-proof backend. The core requirements are secure user authentication, real-time chat, and smooth media sharing, all powered by PostgreSQL.
Here’s how I picture the job:
• Design a clean Postgres schema, complete with migrations and sensible indexing.
• Expose well-documented REST or GraphQL endpoints for sign-up/login (JWT or OAuth), direct and group chat via WebSockets, and image/video upload with retrieval links.
• Containerise everything with Docker and include a straightforward README so my mobile team can spin it up locally in minutes.
• Add a small CI pipeline and a basic test suite; I’ll run my own Postman collection and k6 stress test (1 k concurrent chat connections) as final checks.
You’re free to pick the stack—Node.js with TypeScript, FastAPI, or another proven framework—so long as the code is maintainable and the integration with PostgreSQL is rock-solid.
Once these deliverables pass the tests above, we’re done. I’d like to kick off right away and can break the work into sensible milestones.
