Senior Multi-Tenant Django + React SaaS Lead

Title: Lead Developer — Multi-Tenant Django + React SaaS (Healthcare)

We are a production multi-tenant SaaS platform in the healthcare space, built on Django and React, and we are looking for a senior lead developer to steer the engineering through to launch and beyond.

Important: the application is already built, and we have a developer in place who knows the codebase and does the implementation. We are not looking for someone to rebuild it. We need a lead to direct that work: write and scope the tickets, manage the board, set and enforce PR and merge discipline, review the implementation, and be the person who can tell us "patch versus rebuild" with evidence rather than a guess. You will be hands-on in review and judgement, with a builder doing the bulk of the implementation under your direction.

The core of the product is a rules-driven document-generation engine that must be correct every time, so engineering discipline and a focus on correctness matter more here than raw output.

The stack:
- Backend: Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, schema-per-tenant multi-tenancy (django-tenants), Celery and Redis
- Frontend: React
- Infrastructure: Heroku, Cloudflare, GitHub Actions CI/CD

The immediate work:
A defined set of targeted fixes to the document-generation engine, already scoped into clear, separately specified tickets. This first engagement is how we will both decide whether this becomes the ongoing lead role.

To be considered, please answer these in your proposal. Generic proposals will not be reviewed:
1. Name one or two multi-tenant Django and React systems you have personally built, and walk me through the single hardest tenant-isolation or deployment problem you personally solved on one of them. What was the problem, what did you try, and what was the fix that held?
2. On those systems, was the architecture and tenant-isolation work done by you personally, or by a team you led? And if you take this on, will you be doing the reviews and direction yourself, or delegating to a team?
3. Your hourly rate and your availability.

We value evidence and specifics over polish. We look forward to reading yours.
