About the Opportunity
I'm looking for a reliable and experienced Ruby Developer to collaborate with me on a long-term basis. This is a remote position with a fixed monthly salary, offering stable, ongoing work rather than short-term contracts.
Requirements
2+ years of professional experience with Ruby/Ruby on Rails
Strong understanding of Git and GitHub workflows
Ability to fix bugs, implement features, and review pull requests
Must be able to read and understand Japanese documentation, issues, and comments without using translation tools
Speaking or writing Japanese is not required
Good written English communication
Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently
Nice to Have
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Docker
Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing
Experience working with Japanese development teams
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
Fix GitHub issues and implement new features
Review pull requests and improve code quality
Collaborate closely with me on ongoing development
