Second developer for Node.js & PostgreSQL Developer for Business Application
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m adding a second set of hands to accelerate the backend API work on our business application. The project is built with Node.js (latest LTS), Express and PostgreSQL, and lives behind a robust CI/CD pipeline. Your sole focus will be backend API development; the front-end, DevOps and UI layers are already staffed.
You’ll be tackling brand-new feature development. Every upcoming module is already mapped out in detailed documentation and diagrams, so you can dive straight into writing code rather than guessing requirements. You’ll work against clearly defined acceptance criteria and have direct access to me for quick clarifications.
Deliverables
• Fully functional REST (or GraphQL if you prefer) endpoints for each assigned feature
• Corresponding SQL migrations plus any performance-minded query optimizations
• Unit and integration tests that pass in our GitHub Actions pipeline
• A concise README or in-code comments explaining decisions that aren’t obvious from the spec
We communicate in Slack, manage tasks on Jira, and use Pull Requests for code review. If you’re comfortable pushing clean, well-tested Node.js code and have a knack for squeezing every bit of efficiency out of PostgreSQL, let’s talk—I’m ready to slot you in right away.
