Refine and Advance Breathwork Platform

**Take our working breathwork platform prototype from MVP to production**

We're a small Thailand-based wellness startup building a platform for breathwork facilitators and their clients. We have a prototype that includes a functional CRM (client profiles, session logging, sensory tracking, Doctor's Notes, Respiratory Retraining) and a working DJ Booth (breath cycle engine, audio mixer, visualizer, Spotify integration).

**Existing stack:**
React + Vite + TypeScript · Express + Node.js · PostgreSQL 16 + Drizzle ORM · JWT auth · Docker + PM2 + nginx on Oracle Cloud VM. We're open to migrating to Supabase + Next.js — please quote both paths.

**Nature of the engagement:**
The prototype has real, working modules — but several are only partially complete, and a few key pieces (like the Referral Engine) haven't been built yet. A written code audit describes exactly what's built, what's partial, and what's missing. We'll share it with candidates we're taking forward.


**Categories of work:**

1. **Complete existing modules** — admin user-management UI, DJ Booth voice mixer routing + session recording, dashboard stats + trends, schema fixes where frontend fields silently drop on save

2. **Build new modules** — Referral Engine with QR onboarding, attribution logic and tier system (fully net-new); Client Hub with after-session pack and progress tracking

3. **Integrate what's currently separate** — the DJ Booth is standalone and doesn't write to the CRM database; needs proper integration

4. **Harden security** — JWT currently in localStorage, no rate limiting, no input validation, no RLS at DB layer

5. **Add missing infrastructure** — versioned database migrations (currently schema-push), tests (currently zero), proper error tracking

6. **Refactor AI-generated debt** — a defined list of components flagged in the audit

**Timeline:** approximately 10–12 weeks
**Budget:** discussed with shortlisted candidates — please quote what the work is worth to you
**Project management:** handled in-house — we need a developer, not a PM

- How you typically approach inherited AI-generated code (refactor as you go? rewrite? something else?)
- One recent project where you took over someone else's codebase
- Your realistic hours estimate for both stack paths (harden-in-place vs. migrate to Supabase)
