PostgreSQL Database Specialist Needed
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
My team’s platform depends on a rock-solid PostgreSQL foundation and I need expert support from initial assessment through to production hand-over. The current priority is to verify (or create) an efficient schema, tune any slow queries, and establish a reliable migration and backup workflow. Once the core is stable I also want clear documentation so future iterations stay clean and predictable.
Deliverables
• Optimised schema (DDL scripts and diagram)
• Indexed and refactored queries, benchmark results included
• Automated migration, backup and restore routines with step-by-step instructions
• A concise knowledge-transfer session covering what was changed, why, and how to extend it
Acceptance criteria: PgBench or similar stress-tests show agreed performance targets, all scripts run cleanly on PostgreSQL 13+, and restores complete without data loss.
We’ll collaborate via Git, daily chat updates, and short video calls as needed. Mention past work with extensions such as PostGIS, TimescaleDB, or logical replication so I can gauge fit quickly.
