OpenMaint Migration and Continuous Collaboration
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We are looking for a consultant with proven experience in OpenMaint / CMDBuild installation and configuration to support our company in the following project:
Phase 1 – Migration
Migrate our current OpenMaint installation from Google Cloud (Bitnami, with Alfresco) to a Digital Ocean server.
The new installation should run without Alfresco (we don’t mind losing attached files).
Ensure a clean, modular, and optimized installation (PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Java).
Phase 2 – Long-Term Collaboration
After the migration, we want to establish a long-term relationship with the freelancer to:
Provide technical support and continuous server maintenance.
Assist in the progressive implementation of OpenMaint across different areas of our company (asset management, maintenance, requisitions, etc.).
Integrate OpenMaint via REST API with our accounting (Defontana ERP) and HR systems.
Develop workflows, reports, and customizations (e.g., requisition approval flows).
Requirements
Strong experience with OpenMaint / CMDBuild (installation, configuration, and customization).
Good knowledge of Linux server administration (preferably Debian/Ubuntu) and Digital Ocean.
Experience with PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Java 17.
Experience integrating applications via REST API.
Nice to have: experience with Defontana ERP API, or similar ERP/HR integrations.
