Job ID: 40400655

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

Set Up Self-Hosted Node.js App + PostgreSQL on Mac Mini M4 (Migration from Vercel + Supabase)

---

I have a Node.js web application currently hosted on Vercel with a PostgreSQL database on Supabase. I want to migrate the entire setup to my personal Mac Mini M4, which will act as a home server.

---

**What I Need (Scope of Work):**

1. **PostgreSQL Setup** on Mac Mini M4
- Install and configure PostgreSQL locally
- Migrate existing data from Supabase (pg_dump + restore)

2. **Node.js App Deployment**
- Set up PM2 for process management and auto-restart
- Configure environment variables

3. **Reverse Proxy + SSL**
- Set up Caddy or Nginx as reverse proxy
- SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt or Cloudflare)

4. **Cloudflare Tunnel**
- Configure Cloudflare Tunnel so the app is accessible publicly without a static IP

5. **Auto-Deployment Pipeline**
- GitHub Actions workflow: push to main → SSH into Mac Mini → pull + PM2 restart
- Should replicate the current Vercel auto-deploy experience

---

**Tech Stack:**
- Node.js (Express or similar)
- PostgreSQL
- GitHub (existing repo)
- Mac Mini M4 (macOS)
- Cloudflare (domain already owned)

---

**Deliverables:**
- Fully working self-hosted setup
- GitHub Actions workflow file
- Basic documentation / README for how to maintain it
- 1 week post-delivery support for any issues

---

**Ideal Freelancer:**
- Experience with DevOps / self-hosting / Linux or macOS server setup
- Familiar with Cloudflare Tunnel, PM2, and GitHub Actions
- Good communication — I need to understand what is being set up

**Timeline:** Within 1 week
