Migrate Real Estate Django Site
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need an experienced Django full-stack developer to move my existing real-estate website—currently running property search and filter functionality—onto a new DigitalOcean setup. The codebase is stable, written in Python with Django and PostgreSQL/MySQL support, and we already maintain a comprehensive automated test suite that must pass unchanged after migration.
Your work will involve:
• Re-creating the production environment on DigitalOcean (Droplets, managed database, object storage or equivalents as needed).
• Handling database export/import and verifying data integrity and search performance.
• Configuring CI/CD so our current tests run automatically on each deploy.
• Hardening security, setting up backups, monitoring, and providing clear hand-off documentation.
No new features are required; the goal is a seamless lift-and-shift with minimal downtime and identical behaviour for users. If you have at least three years of hands-on experience deploying and maintaining Django applications on DigitalOcean, I’d like to hear how you would tackle the move and timeline estimates so we can schedule the cut-over confidently.
