Looking for Directus Expert to Implement User and Access Management System
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I have an existing Django-based backend that already handles authentication and all the logic for user profiles, services and certificates. The goal is to retire that code and rebuild the same Identity & Access Management layer inside Directus.
Here’s the scope in plain terms:
• Recreate my current user table (plus related profile, service and certificate collections) in Directus, keeping the relationships intact.
• Design roles and granular permissions so admins, regular users and service providers see only what they should.
• Build flows and automations that flip each account between active, expired and verified states, triggering the correct notifications as they change.
• Implement lightweight business rules—think “account expires after X days of inactivity” or “certificate becomes invalid when its service is revoked.”
• Migrate all existing data from Django into the new Directus instance without loss or corruption.
• Produce a concise setup & usage guide so future team members can adjust roles, tweak flows, or add collections without touching code.
I’m already hosting Directus (latest stable) with PostgreSQL, so you’ll have instant access to a clean environment and a database dump from Django. If you have shipped any Directus-based IAM, permissioning or workflow projects, I’d love to see them—links, screenshots, or brief write-ups are all welcome.
The deliverable is a fully working Directus project file (or export), migrated data, and the documentation mentioned above.
