Full-Stack QA Engineer Needed for SaaS Application

Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong understanding of full-stack systems and the ability to build and maintain automation test suites. Our application is built on Node.js (backend), React (frontend), and PostgreSQL (database). You must be comfortable testing across all layers of the stack.

This role involves functional testing, API validation, regression testing, and creating automation scripts to improve test coverage and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design and execute manual test cases for backend APIs, frontend UI, and database workflows

Build and maintain automation test scripts (preferably JavaScript-based frameworks)

Perform end-to-end, integration, regression, and performance testing

Validate REST APIs, authentication flows, user journeys, and data accuracy

Identify, document, and track bugs using proper QA tools

Collaborate with developers to ensure stable releases

Work closely with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria

Ensure the application meets quality, reliability, and performance standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a QA Engineer or QA Automation Engineer

Strong understanding of Node.js backend flows, React UI behavior, and PostgreSQL database structure

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, Mocha, or similar

Experience testing REST APIs with tools like Postman or Newman

Ability to write automated E2E tests for frontend and backend

Solid understanding of SQL queries for database validation

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

Experience with performance testing tools (k6, JMeter)

Knowledge of TypeScript

Experience with Docker-based environments

Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Vercel, or similar)
