Full-Stack Developer Needed for AWS Migration, Critical Bug Fixes, UI/UX Revamp & Payment System Setup (Django + React + PostgreSQL)

Project Description
We are building StartLinker (startlinker.com) – a startup ecosystem platform connecting entrepreneurs with investors and collaborators. The platform is currently hosted on Render (with Cloudflare DNS) and needs to be migrated to AWS for scalability and performance. In addition, several critical bugs, security vulnerabilities, UI/UX issues, payment system setup, SEO setup, and design improvements must be resolved before launch.
Scope of Work
Critical Bugs to Fix
* Messaging System (broken): read receipts, sorting, unread badges, WebSocket drops, timestamps, group chats, attachments, search, conversation updates, typing indicator, online/offline status.
* Notification System (not working): dropdown, count badges, real-time updates, clear-all, duplicate notifications, email/push notifications, pagination.
* Authentication Issues: email verification, password reset, social logins (Google/LinkedIn), session handling, “remember me,” account activation, email change.
Payment System Setup (New Feature)
Implement a job posting payment system for employers with a credits-based package model:

* Notifications/reminders when credits are low or about to expire.
Security Vulnerabilities to Patch
* Exposed credentials (SendGrid, PostgreSQL, AWS, Django SECRET\_KEY).
* No rate limiting, CORS set to \*, DEBUG=True in prod.
* CSRF missing, SQLi/XSS risks.
* File upload unrestricted.
* Weak password rules, admin panel exposed.
AWS Migration (from Render)
* Backend: Django on EC2/ECS, ALB, Auto Scaling.
* Database: Migrate PostgreSQL → RDS (Multi-AZ, backups, replicas).
* Storage & CDN: S3 (static/media) + CloudFront.
* Cache & Queue: ElastiCache Redis, SQS + Celery.
* Email & Monitoring: SES, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, SSL via ACM.
* Cloudflare: Update DNS, SSL/TLS strict, caching, WAF, rate limiting.
UI/UX Revamp
* Current UI is inconsistent and unusable on mobile. Needs a seamless, modern, and appealing design.
* Mobile: fix menus, forms, chat interface, tables, footer issues.
* Desktop: unify fonts, colors, spacing, button styles, error/success messages.
* Add missing UI elements: dark mode, loaders, tooltips, dialogs, scroll-to-top.
* Ensure Apple-like clean design, smooth navigation, and consistent branding.
Performance Optimization
* Add missing PostgreSQL indexes.
* Fix N+1 queries, use select\_related/prefetch\_related.
* Optimize queries, caching, transactions.
* Frontend: code splitting, lazy loading, reduce bundle size, fix re-render loops, optimize images.
SEO & Metadata Setup
* Configure proper metadata (title, description, OpenGraph, Twitter cards) so the correct details show in Google search results and social sharing.
* Add robots.txt, sitemap.xml.
* Setup Google Search Console + Analytics.
Testing & Compliance
* Add unit/API/integration/E2E tests.
* Load testing (1000+ concurrent users).
* GDPR/CCPA compliance features: privacy policy, cookie consent, user data export/deletion.
Timeline (4 Weeks)
* Week 1: Fix messaging/notifications, patch vulnerabilities, prep AWS.
