Enhance Node.js AWS PostgreSQL App
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need an experienced developer to step into my existing Node.js application (deployed on AWS with a PostgreSQL database) and push it to the next level. My primary goal is to enhance the current codebase—not start from scratch—so you’ll be working with what’s already there, polishing it, and extending its capabilities.
Where I most need your help is in refining some existing changes that were left half-done and then developing a new service that plugs cleanly into the architecture. The code already runs, but it can definitely run better; I’m keen on anything you can do to streamline database calls, tighten up AWS resource usage, or otherwise boost performance while you’re in the code.
Deliverables I expect:
• Updated Node.js modules and AWS resources reflecting the finished changes
• A new, fully functional service integrated with the current API layer
• Any necessary PostgreSQL schema tweaks and migration scripts
• Brief but clear documentation or inline comments so I can maintain the improvements
Everything lives in a private Git repo; you’ll commit through feature branches and open pull requests for review. If you can demonstrate past success with similar stacks—especially optimizing Postgres queries and wiring up AWS services—that will help us move quickly.
