Docker, Odoo15, volumes missing.
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
DOCKER installation: I have Odoo 15 and the Webkul removed the volume pointers I had created when I created the setup-installation.
I have two tasks I want to achieve here:
1. Remove existing accounting moduel (I know how to do this)
2. Add Cybrosys accounting module that has HMRC MTD connection readily coded in their module. This means replacing th existing module with a new one.
3. This change affects the Webkul module which is synching between MAgento 2 and Odoo 15. These modules needs accounting installed so removing the existing will destroy the existing installation of the 3 modules.
4. Make it possible to make backup of both Odoo 15 and the postgres DB that is up and running. There is no backupwhatsoever of the system.
It may be easier to start over with a clean install, but if yuo know how to get things right and have done the webkul install/repair previously it may be a way to do it this way.
What happened:
Right now there are add ins in the existing container that are not backed up and I need to have it linked to a local volume in a specific place outside the docker directory of my own choice so I can make backups of all data in case of server crash or if I need to move it a new server.
I managed to create the volumes but now Odoo says "The style compilation failed, see the error below. Your recent actions may be the cause, please try reverting the changes you made.
Could not get content for /om_account_asset/static/src/scss/account_asset.scss defined in bundle 'web.assets_backend'."
So this must be resolved as it is messing up the whole menu.
Your skills:
1. you must know how you create volume to an existing container, there is no margin for errors here.
2. You must know how to create the volume outside of the docker folder.
I know it is not a big job, but here I need experienced help.
You should also tell mer how you do it and not just do it and then disapear. I want to do it under your supervision.
