Debug, Test & Deploy Bolt.new Application (Vite-React-TS + Supabase)
Budget: €6 – €12 EUR
We have a fully implemented Bolt.new app (Vite + React + TypeScript front-end, Supabase back-end), and now need to bring it across the finish line: squash remaining bugs, add comprehensive automated tests, and deploy it into production. This is strictly a 20-hour engagement, paid hourly, under NDA, with verification via timestamped screenshot recordings.
Scope & Deliverables
Debug & Stabilize
• Triage and fix critical bugs across UI and API calls
• Ensure error-states handled gracefully (toasts, fallbacks)
2. Unit & Integration Tests
• Write/complete Jest + React Testing Library tests for core components & utilities
• Mock Supabase client in unit tests
• Add integration tests for data-access layer against Supabase emulator or staging instance
3. End-to-End Smoke Tests
• Author Cypress or Playwright tests covering login, project CRUD, timesheet flows
• Integrate tests with local or CI-hosted environment
4. CI/CD Pipeline & Coverage
• Create GitHub Actions workflow to run lint, type-check, unit/integration/E2E tests, enforce ≥ 80% coverage
• Configure deployment to Netlify (or Vercel) on main branch 4
5. Final QA & Handoff
• Manual regression pass, review test reports & coverage
• Deploy to production URL
• Deliver “test & deploy” summary doc and 10 min screencast
Key Responsibilities
Debugging:
Identify and resolve UI glitches, data-sync issues, and uncaught exceptions
Verify proper Supabase error handling and session persistence
Automated Testing:
Unit: Ensure all React components, hooks, and helper functions are covered
Integration: Validate Supabase queries/mutations against a test database
E2E: Smoke-test main user journeys (auth, project & timesheet operations)
CI/CD & Deployment:
Set up GitHub Actions steps for linting, type-checking, testing, coverage checks, and deploy
Deploy on Hostineger VPS and Supabase
Documentation & Handoff:
Provide a brief report on fixed issues, test coverage results, and deployment status
Supply a short screencast (with timestamps) demonstrating the final app in production (timetracking from Freelancer)

Hourly & Time Tracking:

Code pushed to protected branch; merge to main only after all tests pass
