Custom Content Management System Search
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a stand-alone software solution focused on content management. The core requirement is a fast, accurate search feature that lets users locate any piece of stored content—titles, body text, tags, or metadata—without delay.
Scope
• Build a clean, modular codebase that I can maintain and extend later.
• Provide an interface—desktop, web-based, or console—that makes adding, editing, and deleting content straightforward.
• Implement full-text and filtered search (by date, tag, author, etc.) with quick indexing for new entries.
• Supply clear documentation covering setup, configuration, and the main components so future enhancements remain simple.
Tech Preferences
I’m comfortable working with mainstream stacks such as Python (Django/FastAPI + PostgreSQL), Node.js, or an equivalent open-source framework. If you have a different stack that still delivers a robust search engine and clean architecture, I’m open to hearing why it’s the better fit.
Acceptance Criteria
1. Search returns relevant results in under two seconds for 10k+ records on a modest VPS.
2. CRUD operations function without errors, preserving data integrity.
3. Code and documentation pass a quick review for readability and logical structure.
I value quality over speed, so well-organized, maintainable work is essential. I’ll be available to answer questions and review progress step by step until the final deliverable fully meets these requirements.
