Beginner SQL Coaching

I need one-on-one SQL coaching that starts from the absolute basics and quickly builds enough confidence for day-to-day operational queries. Right now I’m a complete beginner: I can open a client, but joins, sub-queries, and even simple SELECT…WHERE syntax still feel intimidating.

What I’d like is a practical, session-based approach. We will meet live (screen-share or video) where you demonstrate, then watch me repeat and tweak until the concepts stick. Realistic exercises drawn from log tables, user records, or any sample dataset you have handy are ideal. By the end of our work together I want to:
• Read, write, and troubleshoot SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements
• Combine tables with INNER/LEFT joins and aggregations
• Recognise and avoid common performance traps such as unnecessary wildcards or missing indexes

I’m flexible on the database engine—we can stay in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server as long as the fundamentals apply universally. If you suggest lightweight tools like db-fiddle, pgAdmin, SSMS, or Azure Data Studio that’s a bonus; the simpler the setup, the faster I learn.

Please outline how many hours you’d recommend for a true beginner, the structure you usually follow, and any follow-along material you can provide so I can practise between sessions. 200 per session.
