Backend System Builiding (Supabase PostgreSQL/AI)

We operate a resale business focused on pre-owned shoes and have an internal software system built around Supabase as our inventory and listing source of truth. The system is intended to track SKU-level inventory, connect product records to marketplace listings, store marketplace listing IDs and statuses, support crosslisting from eBay to other marketplaces, and help manage delisting when items sell. Our current need is to have a developer inspect and understand the existing backend structure, explain how the current data model and workflows operate, identify potential issues or broken logic, and recommend improvements before we build additional AI and automation features on top of it.

What this project involves:

Inspect the current backend structure
Identify key tables and their purpose
Understand how data is organized (inventory, listings, etc.)
Map how data flows through the system
How records are created, updated, and related
How different tables connect to each other
Explain the system in plain English
What each main table represents
How the core workflow operates
Identify potential issues or risks
Data inconsistencies
Duplicate records or unclear relationships
Areas that may cause bugs or scaling issues
