AWS RDS Migration of Odoo
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My Odoo installation is currently on AWS EC2 and the application is fully operational.
Currently using Odoo version 9 -- under Ubuntu Server
The tasks will include :
- Understanding the current setup of my Odoo application on AWS EC2 and Assisting with the process of safely migrating the existing setup to AWS RDS
The database size is between 1GB to 10GB that needs to be separated ( Odoo application + Odoo database -- postgresql) and to be migrated to RDS
Testing to be done thereafter to ensure it's functioning properly post-migration (to be tested on odoo website and also to test if all database is migrated properly in AWS RDS)
- Manage and track Postgresql logs , Odoo start / stop / restart of the application , to have auto restart basis on AWS without manual intervention
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in AWS RDS and EC2 and also Odoo Application
- Experience in migrating applications between AWS services
- need to "unlink" or separate odoo database and application
