Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Migration Freelancer to help us migrate our website data and application from a beta environment to AWS live production.

All development work is already completed in the beta version, and the AWS infrastructure setup is in place. The scope of work is focused purely on migration, configuration verification, and go-live support.

Scope of Work

Migrate website data from beta environment to AWS live

Verify and configure AWS services for production readiness

Ensure smooth transition with zero or minimal downtime

Validate database, APIs, backend services, and storage

Perform post-migration testing and performance checks

Fix any migration-related issues

Provide basic documentation or handover after completion

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)

Proven experience in website/application migration to AWS

Database migration experience (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB – specify as applicable)

Knowledge of deployment, security, and scalability best practices

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues quickly

Experience handling live production environments

Preferred (Good to Have)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery setup

Prior experience migrating from staging/beta to production
