I need to let users securely enter and store their debit card number inside my Freelance environment so that payments can be processed through PayPal rather than handled manually. The flow is straightforward: a user opens the payment screen, types in their debit-card details, and PayPal takes care of the transaction in the background.
What I already have: the front-end page is built, but the card field is only a plain text box and nothing is wired to PayPal yet. What I need from you is the complete PayPal integration—client-side card input (using PayPal’s recommended SDK so the data never touches my server), server-side confirmation, and a clear success / failure response that I can show to the user.

• Clean, commented code that plugs into my existing project files
• PayPal sandbox credentials added so I can test before we go live
• A short read-me explaining where to set my production keys
Acceptance criteria
If a test debit card is entered and approved in the sandbox, the transaction must post successfully and return the PayPal payment ID; on failure, the correct error message should display without exposing raw gateway errors.
