Guide Me Into Freelance Design

I’m already comfortable in graphic design—my focus is creating brochures and posters—but I’ve never offered those skills as a freelancer. I’d like someone who has successfully built a freelance graphic-design career to walk me through the entire process, from choosing the right platforms and shaping an eye-catching profile to structuring proposals and pricing my work.

Because I don’t have specific reference pieces in mind, I’m counting on you to suggest portfolio layouts, sample project ideas, and visual directions that help showcase my brochure and poster abilities. Practical, actionable advice is key: I learn fastest when I can immediately apply the steps you outline.

Deliverables
• A short, written roadmap (PDF or Google Doc) that breaks down sign-up, profile optimisation, portfolio creation, bidding/marketing tactics, and client communication strategies, all tailored to brochure & poster design.
• A live consultation session (voice or video, 45–60 minutes) where we review my current work and refine my next actions.
• Follow-up answers to any clarification questions I send within one week of the call.
