Academic Event Poster Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for a creative designer to craft an eye-catching poster that promotes an upcoming academic event aimed at students. The final artwork needs to motivate attendance, reflect the scholarly nature of the gathering, and resonate with a student audience at first glance.
Scope of work
• Develop an initial concept based on a short brief I’ll supply (theme, date, venue, key speakers).
• Refine the chosen concept into a polished, print-ready poster (A3 size, CMYK, 300 dpi) plus a web-optimised version for social media.
• Incorporate my logo, event tagline, and any sponsor badges without crowding the layout.
• Provide up to three rounds of revisions so the messaging and visual hierarchy feel spot-on.
Deliverables
1. High-resolution PDF for print and a layered source file (Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop).
2. Optimised JPEG/PNG versions for Instagram Stories, Facebook, and email newsletters.
3. Font list and colour palette for future collateral.
Timelines and communication
I’ll share the brief as soon as we start and would like the first draft within four days, followed by revisions and final files within ten days total. Regular progress updates via Freelancer chat are appreciated.
If you have a portfolio showing student-focused or academic designs, please attach it—seeing how you translate educational themes into engaging visuals will help me choose quickly.
