YouTube Video Editor - True Crime

Job ID: 40627515

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m expanding my post-production pipeline and need two reliable editors who can transform raw entertainment footage into dynamic, documentary-style episodes. Each piece runs 60–120 minutes and must be fully polished within 48 hours. You’ll be syncing visuals to an already-recorded voice-over, weaving in still images where helpful, and adding only the most essential on-screen text to drive the story forward.

Because these are entertainment documentaries, pacing and visual storytelling are everything. I’ll share a reference cut and voice sample before your first assignment so you’ll know the exact energy, curiosity, and emphasis I’m after. A complete script accompanies every project, but I count on your eye for timing, rhythm, and detail.

Communication has to stay transparent, deadlines must be met without exception, and every frame should feel intentional. If you can consistently hit four episodes a week (we have five ready to start), you’ll fit right in—and there’s room to take on even more once we build trust.

Please open your proposal with the letters “TC” so I know you read the details.

Deliverables for each episode:
• Final 60–120-minute video, synced perfectly with VO and imagery
• Minimal yet impactful text overlays (spelling and timing checked)
• One revision round turned around promptly if notes arise

I’m looking for editors who love breathing life into long-form content and see themselves collaborating for at least the next 12 months. If that sounds like you, let’s talk.
