Corporate Event Video Editor Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Greetings Freelancers,
We have a batch of RAW video assets from a recent corporate event (shot in 4K ProRes), and we’re seeking an editor to support us through the initial post-production phase.
The scope of work includes:
-Creating a string-out/raw assembly of the interview footage
-Culling selects to identify the strongest moments
-Assembling and culling a separate string-out of B-roll footage
From there, the goal is to develop a series of short-form reels using the interview content, intercut with relevant B-roll (captured at the same location).
Our client is focused on building polished, professional reels for brand recognition. Each interview will generate multiple deliverables, formatted as:
-4K 16:9 horizontal (YouTube)
-4K 9:16 vertical (Instagram Reels / TikTok)
Your responsibility:
1. Take a Google Drive download link containing about 110 .RDC files (filmed in raw), totaling below 300GB.
2. Combine the videos with the correct audio from the microphones (should be Channels 3 & 4)
3. Splice the videos into different categories using your discretion on when to cut each video into a separate file - for instance (a) each video interview should be a different file, (b) sort B-roll and other content into different files.
4. You should deliver the final video files in both (a) 4K 16:9 horizontal (YouTube) and (b) 4K 9:16 vertical (Instagram Reels / TikTok)
5. Ideally, the final files you deliver should be (a) very high resolution video and still be able to be edited in post-production and (b) ideally about 2-4 minutes or less per video file (unless there's some longer interviews).
6. I'd also like you to provide a spreadsheet containing a directory that I can share with my post-production team, so they can go back into the raw .RDC files (e.g. VIDEO1.RDC contains your delivered files VIDEO1, VIDEO2, VIDEO3, VIDEO4, etc). This way, as we look through your videos, we know the exact .RDC file that the content came from.
