Develop a Catalogue for 3D Model Elements

**Project Description:**
We are looking for a freelancer to organize and structure a collection of 3D models into a well-structured catalogue, referred to as **"The Catalogue of Elements."** This will involve:

- **Concept Development** – Proposing an efficient system for organizing and presenting the catalogue.
- **Prototype Creation** – Developing an initial version, which could be a **PDF guide with visuals and diagrams** alongside a structured **database of 3D models.**
- **Categorization** – Sorting models based on function, dimensions, materials, or another system you suggest.

### **Project Background:**
This project has been ongoing for almost a year and has gathered numerous **3D models** through design workshops and student projects. The models are currently stored on **OneDrive** under two main folders:
- **BuildingElements** (architectural components from co-design workshops).
- **LandscapeElements** (landscape design elements, including DIY and student work).

You will start with **BuildingElements**, as the LandscapeElements folder is still being updated.

### **Ideal Candidate:**
- Experience in **cataloguing, data organization, or architectural design.**
- Familiarity with **3D modeling software** and **file management.**
- Strong **graphic design** and **layout** skills for the PDF guide.

### **Deliverables:**
1. A structured concept for organizing the catalogue.
2. An initial prototype (PDF guide + database).
3. A method for maintaining and updating the catalogue as new models are added.

We welcome innovative approaches to ensure the catalogue is **user-friendly and visually appealing.** If you're interested, please provide examples of similar projects you've worked on.

This is the main announcement that should be done:
We would like to give you the task of organizing some models into a catalogue (we call it "The catalogue of elements"). Your responsibilities would include coming up with the concept for the catalogue and developing the initial prototype. This could take the form of a PDF guide featuring visuals and diagrams, paired with a database of 3d models organized by criteria such as function, dimensions, materials, or another system you propose. The structure, output, and approach will be up to you to determine.

This project has been ongoing for nearly a year, and through leading the design process and conducting several co-design workshops, we have stockpiled a collection of various 3d models.

Currently, the 3d models are stored on OneDrive and divided into two main folders: one containing architectural components ("BuildingElements"), and one containing landscape design components ("LandscapeElements"):

The subfolders are organized by the source of the models. For example, the "BuildingElements" folder includes information and models from three stages of co-design workshops conducted with residents of the apartment buildings undergoing renovation as part of the project. The "LandscapeElements" folder includes models produced by students, along with some open source DIY materials.

We suggest you begin with the "BuildingElements" folder, as new content is still being added to the "LandscapeElements" folder.
