Description:

I have a Python-based Polymarket copy trading bot that copies trades from a target wallet. The bot works, but I need a developer to improve its equity and P&L calculations so it performs accurately regardless of which wallet is being copied.

Project Requirements:

Develop a wallet-agnostic reconciliation system that can accurately calculate and track:

Total wallet equity
Realized profit and loss
Unrealized profit and loss
Open positions
Position sizing
Cost basis
Trade history
The system should correctly handle:

Partial fills
Multiple buys and sells
Position scaling
Market resolution and settlement
API or indexing inconsistencies
Missing or delayed blockchain events
Different trading styles across wallets
Other edge cases that can affect accurate P&L calculations
The goal is to build a reliable reconciliation engine that works consistently with any Polymarket wallet instead of requiring wallet-specific fixes.

Deliverables:

Review and improve the current equity calculation logic
Build a robust reconciliation system
Identify and resolve the root cause of any equity discrepancies
Add error logging and validation checks
Provide clean, documented Python code
Test the solution using multiple Polymarket wallets to ensure consistent results
