• Integrated online ordering so customers can place purchases remotely
• Robust inventory tracking that updates in real time as sales are made
On the hardware side, the application has to talk seamlessly with receipt printers, barcode scanners, and cash drawers. Autodetection and simple configuration wizards are strongly preferred so staff can plug new devices in without calling support every time.
