Mentor Me in Free-Verse Poetry -- 2
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I have always been told that someone who stopped formal schooling after the 8th standard cannot become a writer; I am determined to prove otherwise. My heart is set on poetry—specifically free-verse pieces that speak about love and relationships in a way that feels genuine, raw, and relatable.
I need a patient mentor who can guide me from the very basics of poetic expression through to polishing final drafts fit for publication or performance. I’m looking for:
• Clear explanations of core poetic devices and how they apply in free verse
• Constructive line-by-line feedback on my drafts focused on voice, imagery, and emotional impact
• Optional short exercises or reading recommendations that strengthen my skills without overwhelming me
I’ll share rough poems weekly, and I’d value thoughtful critique within a couple of days so I can revise promptly. If you have experience helping beginners unlock their creative confidence, especially on themes of love and relationships, your guidance will mean a lot to me.
By the end of our collaboration I hope to have a small collection of at least ten refined free-verse poems—and, more importantly, the belief that even someone considered “useless” by others can succeed through hard work and good mentorship.
