Podcast Setup Guidance

Job ID: 40153907

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’ve invested in a full studio—condenser mics, audio interface, monitor speakers, and treated room—but I still need an experienced producer to make sure every element works together flawlessly and we get the podcast online and ut of my cloud storage. My priority is the recording stage: gain staging, mic technique, session templates, and a clear workflow that guarantees clean, consistent raw tracks I can later edit myself.

Here’s what I’d like from you:

• One live video call (about an hour) to review my room layout, hardware chain, and DAW settings.
• A written checklist I can follow before every session—levels, backups, file-naming, everything.
• A quick test recording I’ll send your way; you’ll return detailed notes so I know the noise floor, headroom, and overall tone are on point.

Acceptance criteria: a test clip with no clipping or plosives and a noise floor below –60 dB, plus clear, actionable instructions I can repeat without outside help.

If you’ve guided other podcasters with a similar full studio setup, please share examples and let me know which DAWs or hardware you specialize in. I’m ready to hop on a call this week so I can start recording next Monday.
