Hello,
I host a video podcast called FilterLIFE, presented by a veteran-led nonprofit organization. We record using Riverside.fm and are looking for a professional podcast editor who can handle post-production and publishing.

We currently have a backlog of approximately 4 recorded episodes ready for editing, and we are looking to build a relationship with a reliable editor we can confidently call on for future special guest episodes.
We do not have a fixed weekly schedule at this time. This would be project-based, with potential for ongoing work as we grow.

What We Need
1️⃣ Long-Form Episode Production
For each episode:
• Edit Riverside video for pacing, clarity, and retention
• Clean audio (noise reduction, leveling, compression)
• Remove awkward pauses and errors
• Add intro/outro (provided)
• Light branding elements (logo, subtle graphics if appropriate)
• Export final 16:9 YouTube-ready video
• Export audio file for podcast platforms
Editing should feel professional and authentic — not overproduced or flashy.

2️⃣ Publishing Support
Preferred (not mandatory):
• Upload to YouTube with SEO-friendly title, description, and tags
• Upload audio to podcast hosting platform
• Ensure distribution to Apple Podcasts and Spotify
Please specify if you have experience with podcast hosting platforms.

3️⃣ Short-Form Clips
From each episode:
• 3–5 vertical clips (9:16)
• Strong hook within first 3 seconds
• Subtitles (burned-in captions)
• Optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Clips should be emotionally compelling and drive traffic to the full episode.

• You may edit in your preferred professional software
• We must receive final exported files
• Access to project/source files upon request

We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience editing long-form YouTube podcasts
• Understands retention and pacing
• Can create high-performing short clips
• Communicates clearly
• Is comfortable working on a project-by-project basis
Please provide:
• 2–3 podcast editing examples
• 2–3 vertical clip examples
• Estimated turnaround time per 60-minute episode
• Pricing per episode (preferred over hourly)
