New Build Final Walk-Through Inspection

Job ID: 40509713

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

My newly constructed home has reached the final walk-through stage, and before I sign off with the builder I want an independent, professional eye on every critical system. The scope is a full Final Walk-Through Inspection that zeroes in on the structural components, the electrical setup, and all visible plumbing.

I expect you to work methodically—moving room by room, inside and out—verifying framing integrity, outlet polarity, breaker labeling, water line routing, fixture operation, and anything else that commonly slips through during the rush to closing. A good moisture meter, voltage tester, and if available, basic thermal imaging will help document issues without guesswork.

Deliverables I need within 24 hours of the site visit:
• A clear written report formatted as PDF.
• High-resolution photos embedded next to each observation.
• A concise summary page highlighting any safety hazards or warranty items that must be addressed before hand-over.

If something is beyond the normal scope of a walk-through—say, HVAC performance testing—I’m open to hearing that as an add-on, but the core focus remains structural, electrical, and plumbing. Accuracy, thoroughness, and clean documentation are what matter most to me, as I’ll be handing your report straight to the builder for corrective action.
