Nextcloud Subdomain Restoration and Configuration on Plesk
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
Project Description:
We are looking for a freelancer with experience in Plesk, Nginx/Apache, SSL certificates, and Nextcloud to restore the subdomain cloud.xxx.com on our server.
The subdomain was previously working correctly, but after a recent Plesk and Nginx configuration change, HTTPS access now returns a 403 Forbidden error. The server is running Nginx and Apache, PHP-FPM is configured for PHP 8.3, and the Nextcloud folder permissions follow official documentation.
Project Goals:
Review and restore the subdomain configuration in Plesk (Nginx + Apache) without altering existing Nextcloud files.
Ensure the subdomain works correctly over HTTPS with valid SSL certificates.
Verify that PHP-FPM and the Nextcloud data folder permissions allow proper functionality.
Ensure no data or configuration is lost.
Provide a brief explanation of any changes made and document steps for future reference if necessary.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Plesk, Nginx, Apache, and Nextcloud.
Knowledge of PHP-FPM, file permissions, and SSL certificates.
Ability to work remotely with temporary server access.
Deliverables:
Fully functional subdomain cloud.xxx.com over HTTPS.
Brief documentation of changes performed.
