Diagnose Plesk Server Disk Usage
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
My dedicated server is running Plesk and the main drive just hit 100 % capacity. Everything on the box is either website files or their accompanying databases; mail lives elsewhere. I already have Plesk’s daily backup job enabled, so I’m guessing old archives or something inside the website root directories has snowballed, but I need confirmation—and fast.
I’ll give you SSH access. Once you are in, I need you to trace the biggest culprits, clear space safely, and leave me with a short report explaining:
• what filled the drive
• exactly what you removed or moved
• any retention rules or cron jobs you added/adjusted so this doesn’t happen again
Comfort with Linux command-line tools (du, ncdu, df), Plesk CLI, and MySQL/PostgreSQL logs is essential. If you spot issues with the daily backup rotation or any other misconfiguration, please fix or advise while you’re there.
