Siemens PLC Design + IEC Symbols
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m building out a new Siemens-based PLC project and need a complete, ready-to-use IEC 60617-compliant CAD symbol library to finish the design phase. Your task is to supply that library (DWG, DXF, or native EPLAN/AutoCAD blocks—whichever you already have) and make sure every symbol lines up with Siemens hardware conventions so I can drop them straight into TIA Portal documentation and my electrical schematics.
What I expect from you:
• A clean, well-organised IEC 60617 symbol set covering standard control elements, safety devices, field instrumentation and I/O modules typically used with Siemens PLCs.
• Clear file structure and naming that makes searching inside TIA Portal, AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN quick and intuitive.
• A short usage note or PDF legend explaining any custom adaptations you’ve made.
I’ll verify completeness by importing the library into my CAD tool, inserting a sample schematic page and running a standards check—everything must pass without manual edits.
