Siemens PLC Conveyor Programming

Job ID: 39889025

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I need a solid Siemens-based PLC program that keeps an entire food-manufacturing line running smoothly. The key requirement is precise conveyor-belt speed control for every section of the line, including coordinated starts, stops and line-balancing logic.

Here’s what I’m after:
• Develop ladder or structured-text code in TIA Portal for a Siemens CPU (S7-1200/1500 class) covering motor starters, VFD interfaces and safety circuits.
• Integrate existing sensors, photo-eyes and encoders so each conveyor section can self-regulate speed and detect jams or product gaps.
• Add operator-friendly HMI screens (WinCC) that display speeds, alarms and manual override functions.
• Deliver well-commented source files, an I/O list, and a brief commissioning guide so on-site technicians can load, test and maintain the program.
• Provide remote support during first power-up to fine-tune PID or speed-reference parameters.

The line currently has no unified control logic, so you’ll start from a clean slate and create a modular, scalable solution that can expand as we add new packaging or mixing stations later. Familiarity with food-grade standards and hygienic cable routing is a plus, but the immediate focus is rock-solid conveyor and PLC control.
